Steering Wheel

Remove & Install Steering Wheel

1. Remove cap (1) from the steering wheel.

2. Remove nut (2) and washer (3) from the steering

wheel shaft. Put location marks on the steering

wheel and the steering wheel shaft for installation

purposes.

3. Remove the steering wheel from the shaft.

NOTE : Use the following steps to install the steering

wheel.

4. Put the steering wheel on the steering wheel shaft

in its original position.

5. Install washer (3) and nut (2). Tighten nut (2) to a

torque of 80 ± 7 N·m (60 ± 5 lb·ft).

6. Install cap (1).
